stunning work Janet, love that dark sky and the sharp contrast of shadow and light across the building. You must have the patience of a saint, and a one haired paint brush:) How long does it take you to complete a painting on average? r.

Thank you Rahina.

on average 40 hrs. I know it’s not cost effective, but I hope it will pay off one day:)

I have one painting that I started at the beginning of last year.I already spent more than 200 hours and it’s far over from being ready. One of these days it will be just right.

Great painting, Janet. Interesting composition, and good detail in the shadows.
Good luck with it.

This buiding is wonderful- I love how you see such bold lines & use such dramatic tonal contrasts.I'm glad your efforts are being rewarded- you really deserve it.

You've made me feel better about how long it takes you, because I was thinking it looks like a hell of a lot of work & how would you get these results otherwise.
I end up not being able to avoid taking up to 50 hours frequently - but 200 is out of my experience! I look forward to seeing the result some day.
