"Fire Escapes"

............................................... Sold
8x10
oil on linen.

Here's a smaller version, actually fragment, of the painting I did a few months ago. I love painting fire escapes. I'm thinking of doing it again in a large format - 12x32 with different composition.
This painting is a corner of Broome and Mercer streets in Soho.

Love the composition of this and I did think it was a photograph at first. It has a really nice depth to it with the angle you have chosen. Great stuff :-)

Morning Coffee ... Starbucks Sulawesi is my luxury when my friends send it from the UK. I used to drink it all the time in Tokyo, so, of course, I hate you for being near a Starbucks ;-)
I love the idea of the hot coffee and the cold rain.

I found you on ebay and fell in love with your art! I was born and raised in New York and I'm living in the south now. One of the mainstays are the fire escapes. It just brings me back to home :)
