I'm back to my favorite subject - NYC train stations and have almost completed two new paintings with Wall Street and Canal street stations. They are still wet and will be available for sale in one week.
New York Meatpacking District is good place for inspiration with its rugged beauty: cobblestone streets and late 19th-century warehouses of red and brown brick. The neighbor used to be home of the butchers and artists attracted by cheap rent. Since early 90s the Meatpacking District began to change its face. Now it’s a home to high fashion couture, restaurants, trendy clubs, etc...

I just finished 11 new paintings in oil. It took much longer to complete than I anticipated, but it did turn out like I'd hoped it would. Janet T.
I’m offering for auction my recent 2008 group of 8 paintings representing my two favorite cities: New York and Miami. I'm pleased how the paintings turned out. I painted late evenings or very early mornings devoted of people and traffic to evoke the feeling of serenity and tranquility.
This painting represents two parts of New York city. The legendary Greenwich Village butcher on Bleecker Street - Ottomanalli & Sons and Gansevoort street of New York meatpacking district.
