This is one of those paintings I've wanted to do for a long time. I found this stairway walking from floor to floor in NY art district where you can find a lot of interesting architectural discoveries.

Janet, you've done it again. Reminds me of a close of the tenement I lived in when I was a kid (a close is a term for the stairway of the apartment building in Scotland). There was a huge window at the bottom of the stairs too. Just beautiful...
